??? Need ID Help ???

15-42or69-43 2LT John Collins 02/11/51

36-42 1LT James J Ryan 09/11/50

33-42 CPT Thomas Joseph Joyce, Jr 02/13/51 POW - Died while captured

The above individuals (John Collin, Thomas Joyce and James Ryan) have not been
verified as graduates of Field Artillery OCS. Their serial numbers are not consistant
with those assigned to graduates from that time period. In addition, John Collins
and James J. Ryan are common names. John Collins and Thomas Joyce served in
Artillery assignments. James Ryan served in an Infantry regiment with an Infantry
MOS. Attempts to verify the source of commission from the National Personnel
Records Center (Military Personnel Records) have been unsuccessful. A fire at
that facility on 12 July 1973 destroyed 80% of the records for those discharged
between November 1, 1912 and January 1, 1960.

Confirmation or information concerning the graduates listed above is appreciated.
Please contact us at faocsalumni@lcisp.com.

The names of these Field Artillery OCS graduates, killed in Korea, were compiled
by Randy & Penny Dunham. This is work in progress and we've made every
effort to accurately identify each person. If you have any additional information,
corrections or names we have missed, please contact us at faocsalumni@lcisp.com.

Let us all honor the sacrifice and memory of these Korean War Comrades.
Pictures, personal thoughts and comments are most welcome!
